Apple Crumble Pie

Utensils: Measuring cups, 9inch Pie Dish

Ingredients

1 (9 inch) deep dish pie crust - I made mine from scratch (please refer below)
5 cups apples - peeled, cored and thinly sliced
1/2 cup white sugar
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/3 cup white sugar
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
6 tablespoons butter- cold 


Directions

1.Preheat oven to 200deg C. Arrange apple slices in unbaked pie shell. 
2.Mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples.

Apples,sugar and cinnamon mixture in the cooked pie crust.

3.Mix 1/3 cup sugar with flour; cut in butter until crumbly.(use your hands to crumble the butter). Spoon mixture over apples.
Crumble on top
Cut in butter until you get this.


4.Bake in preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until apples are soft and top is lightly browned.

Voila!


Pie Crust
Ingredients

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons milk

Directions

1.Preheat oven to 200 degrees C.
2.Place all ingredients in 9 inch pie pan. Stir together with fork. Pat mixture into bottom and up the sides of the pan. Poke holes in bottom and side of crust.
Mix the mixture and pat into bottom of the pie dish.
3.Bake for 15 minutes in the preheated oven, or until light brown. Use as directed in favorite pie recipe.

End Product:

Best served with Vanilla Ice Cream.
