Botox~

A little something for the readers, an interesting matter that have crossed my mind these days. Dah lame tak tulis blog ni sebab sibuk siapkan ape lagi kan??..but still my mind ponders to things that are interesting to be discuss. Most of the readers out there are familiar with 'Malay' top hit tv episode drama: mulut berat je nak cakap name cite tu..cus its not my type of drama to watch..anyways..cite SpaQ..mustahil la kalau tanye mane2 suri rumah or bibiq(even bibiq aku pn layan..n OMG..aku je kat rumah yg tak tengok..Mak,ateyn sume dh terpengaruh...Oh NO~!). Its not about the story board..*cus most Malay drama tend to be the same..dengki-mendengki,khianat sini sane.dendam.cinta tiga segi.bunuh2 habis la season 2.masuk plak season 3 yang 60-70 episod lagi..macam nonsence..but..its your own choice to watch.

Certainly,if you're wise enough, you know what is quality rather than quantity. Tapi subjek skarang ni, bukan jalan cerita SpaQ tu. I've watched it for 5 mins and realized..Mak datok.tebal gile make up diorang. Come to think of it, is it really make up? Skang ni kan famous, cucuk Vitamin C la E la, cucuk hormon la..Famously known as Botox. The interesting part is, whats the different of Botox and 'Susuk' (u can say its sort of similar like Botox but without any chemical ingredients in it)

BOTOX

Ones beauty is complicated
What is Botox?

BOTOX® is the commercial tradename for Botulinum Toxin Type A.Botulinum Toxin is derived from the bacterium Clostridium Botulinum. When injected into muscles, Botulinum Toxin has a local effect. It blocks transmission between the nerve endings and muscle fibres around the injection site to cause weakness of the nearby muscle.

What is Botox used for?

Botox is a non-surgical cosmetic treatment for moderate to severe frown lines. It is typically used in people aged 18 to 65.Botox works by blocking nerve transmission to temporarily reduce the contractions of the facial muscles that cause frown lines. It has been proven to be a safe and effective treatment for wrinkles, and botox injections are becoming increasingly popular. The Botox injection procedure

Your doctor will administer several tiny injections of botox directly into the muscles of your face. Prior to injection, your doctor will determine where to administer the injections by examining your ability to move certain muscles in your brow area. The entire botox injection procedure takes approximately 10 minutes and does not require anaesthesia. Discomfort is usually minimal and brief.

After the injection

You should notice an improvement in your frown lines within 3 to 7 days, the effects of which can last up to 4 months. However, results may vary. After a period of time, your frown lines will begin to reappear as the effects of botox wear off.

SUSUK

What is Susuk?

Known as “charm needles”, susuk is believed to bestow the wearer with many blessings, ranging from the aesthetic to protection against minor ailments and injuries. These needles are inserted in the soft tissues of the body by bomoh, or witch doctors, using methods which have been passed down by generations.

With roots in Malayan culture, susuk embodies the idea that beauty is not just skin deep, but literally deep beneath the skin. Common susuk sites include the chin, forehead and cheeks. Others, especially those looking to increase their sexual allure, opt for implantations in the hips, breasts and even pubic area.

How many types of Susuk exist?

Among the items which are believed to possess beneficial qualities are gold needles, diamond particles, mercury and organic ingredients such as fruits, betel leaves, turmeric, pepper and shallots.

For example, susuk berlian (diamond implants) are supposed to provide a significant boost to one’s business or career; susuk emas (gold implants) will enhance one’s physical attractiveness; and susuk ayat (herbal implants) are meant to be talismans to ward off bad karma.

There are various taboos which susuk wearers are advised to adhere to, in order for the charm to work. For instance, right after having the procedure done, wearers are not supposed to scratch their faces, eat bamboo shoots or chicken, or pass under clotheslines and stairs for several days. The taboos vary from one practitioner to the next, but one thing most bomoh do agree upon is that not following these “rules” will render the charm ineffective, or even cause the needles to pop out.

A darker threat to susuk wearers is the belief that these charms may last for life, and are hard to get rid of. If the bomoh who had implanted the charms dies before releasing them, the wearer will die a slow, painful death.

So, ape beza botox ngan susuk? Both needed to inject something through your skin and both are painful. Tapi ingat~botox n susuk membawa kesan sampingan di dunia mahupun di akhirat (cheewaaahh..ala ustazah gitu..) As I always say, its your choice to choose to be forever beauty externally or forever beauty internally..as for me, looks and beauty fades with time but our inner beauty stays forever. and even if we die, it stays forever in others who known us for our kindness and good deeds that we do..hehehe..
